<description>In this talk I will discuss how maintainers and contributors can enforce and respect boundaries, avoid and heal from burnout and how the "business" aspects of open source software e.g. open source businesses, raising funds, joining a non-profit/fiscal host can be done and help the project. This will be done on the backdrop of my experiences maintaining Homebrew and, until recently, working on open source at GitHub and, now, trying to build a business around commercialising some aspects of my open source work. Speaker: Mike McQuaid, Track: Community devroom, Room: UA2.114 (Baudoux), When: Sunday 4 February 2024, 10:20–10:50 (Brussels time), Schedule: FOSDEM 2024 event page, Slides &amp; links Slides, Licence: Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 Belgium (CC BY 2.0 BE) (as stated in the FOSDEM video archive).
